Pinecone Research Review: Is Pinecone Legit?
Taking part in research surveys online is one of the easiest ways to start making money online, but often the payout can be minimal which means you can spend a lot of time for little reward. However, there are some sites which pay better than others and Pinecone Research is one of them.
Pinecone Research is a consumer research site that pays you to answer market research questions about new products. I’ve been using them since 2017.
I like them because surveys are paid at a set fee of £3 per survey, (or $3 if you’re in the US) and are all a similar length (10-15 mins).

Once you have signed up and completed your demographic questionnaire, surveys will start to be sent to you. Survey invitations are sent directly via email, and you can click the link to log in and complete. Once completed, your payment will be added into your account.
Surveys are usually questionnaires about new products, asking your thoughts on the designs and marketing materials. They will often ask your thoughts on which options you find more appealing, or which you would be more likely to buy, and at what price.
Surveys usually don’t take any longer to complete than 10-15 minutes. Most surveys can be completed on either a desktop or mobile device.
How do Pinecone pay?
You can choose to be paid as cash into PayPal, or decide to claim one of the many other rewards on offer which include gift vouchers for various shops or even physical items.
You can simply browse through the offers and choose how you’d like to be paid. Once you’ve chosen your cash out option, your reward will be sent shortly after.
You don’t have to reach a certain threshold to be paid, you can request payment after each survey. I’ve always cashed to PayPal and it takes a few days to hit your account.

There are a few alternatives to Pinecone that offer reasonably well paid surveys. Prolific is one of them – once signed up you are paid to complete studies to help academic researchers.
If you’re a UK resident, survey platform YLive pays £1 per 5 minutes of your time answering consumer research surveys.
